Fnb Stadium

First National Bank stadium, better known as Soccer City, FNB Stadium or The Calabash is located in the Soweto district of Johannesburg. The stadium hosted historic events such as the first speech delivered by Nelson Mandela after his release from prison, Chris Hani's funeral and the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final soccer match.

Ellis Park Stadium

Ellis Park Stadium also known as Coca Cola park was the host stadium to the 1995 Rugby World Cup which was won by the Springboks, South Africa's national team. The Stadium is used for soccer and rugby matches as well as open air national and international concerts.

The stadium was built in 1928 and after renovations, today the maximum capacity is 62000. Ellis Park is home grounds to the following teams:

  • The premier Soccer League's, Orlando Pirates
  • Super Rugby Southern Hemisphere rugby competition, Lions
  • Currie Cup domestic rugby competition, Golden Lions storecialis.net
